Feivel: Walls (Ep, 2015)

Elin Hörberg, more known as Feivel, named her EP ”Walls” because of all the different meanings of the word. - A wall can mean many different things. It can mean a memory echoing in a wall, and it can also mean obstacles that get in your way. They can be in your head or someone else can build them up. I don’t know if I’m over my own obstacles yet, but the songs help me to deal with them. On the EP Feivel is breaking unwritten rules about lovesongs. The song ”Get My Way With You” is about one night stands and was born out of Feivel’s feeling that this sort of relationship deserves a song. - Sometimes you know that this is not the start of a happily ever after-kind of relationship, and you might even know that you will feel bad about this tomorrow. But right now it’s just as real, strong and great as something else. I think these love stories deserve an epic love song, just like the traditional love stories. Feivel is known from singles as ”Friend” and ”Fences” and her debut EP ”Feivel” in 2014. She is also a member of the band Skilla.

Feivel: Already standing (Single, 2015)

"You have to play by the second person's rules. But it doesn't matter how right you do, it's still wrong in that person's eyes. You cannot win. In the Orange Is the New Black series, the main character must imitate and adapt to a lot of new, sick rules that prevails there. But whom she adapts to still thinks she never does things right anyways. Just as in my song, it is a perpetual game that no one is going to win, because other players are so fickle. Feivel: Already standing (Single, 2015)

The similarities between the Netflix prison series "Orange Is the New Black" and Feivel's new single "Already Standing" is more than you at first might think. Feivel herself describes the song as a story on being dependent on someone else and be forced to play a game where you can only lose. "You have to play by the second person's rules. In Orange Is the New Black the main character must imitate and adapt to a lot of new, sick rules that prevails there. But whom she adapts to still thinks she never does things right anyways. But you are already there, and got no intent to give up" Feivel released her acclaimed selftitled debut EP autumn 2014. Previously we have seen her in the band Skilla and together with popular Swedish artists like Linnea Henriksson and Sylvester Schlegel (The Ark). "Already Standing" was recorded at, The Soundtrack of Our Lives owned, Svenska Grammofonstudion and is released on all digital platforms on March 10th.

Feivel: Friend (Single, 2014)

If you were to save something for the 90 year old lady you will once become, what would it be? When Feivel from Malmö got to think of the question, the answer was easy: the songs she had written were to be recorded and kept. - I've been truly wishing for a singing voice, but didn't think I had one. Then I just got started and sang without judging myself. It was so much fun and since we had recorded it I thought I'd might aswell release it. And if I am going to release it, I'm gonna do it wholeheartedly! Her work turned into the EP ”Feivel” and the first single is called ”Friend”. It's a song about the time after a breakup when the wounds has begun to heal but when there is still a longing feeling of how things used to be. Elin Hörberg, the person behind the name ”Feivel”, has been picked up by Swedish national radio and heard through music blogs. Elin is also a member of the band Skilla, plays with Sylvester Schlegel and she has worked with artists Linnea Henriksson and Kristian Anttila. ”Friend” is the first single of Feivel's debut EP as a solo artist and it's released on september 25th
