"When someone uses the word “sleazy” to describe their music, it more often than not has me immediately intrigued. So when Holland native Cosmo V (surname Luhulima) sent me a link to her EP simply titled V and described it as “sleazy lo-fi dreampop” she definitely had my attention. After listening to these three surprisingly solid tracks I am happy to confirm that this is some seedy, sleazy music. Her vaguely whispered vocals are definitely sexy and I am picturing her doing an alluring little dance as she croons. I close my eyes and I am immediately whisked away to a smokey nightclub. Cosmo is there performing, pulling me in as I helplessly float along on a wisp of cigarette smoke.
I adore pretty much everything about this EP. I can picture Cosmo V getting pretty popular if people would only give the music a chance. Both style-wise and vocally she reminds me a bit of fellow European sultry songstress Lykke Li, so if you are fan of hers I would definitely recommend downloading V (it is free after all)"(Vía: cactusmouth.tumblr.com)
