Ghost Lake releases new EP with exclusive covers by Marcus Kimaro and J.O. Hansson"I Thought You Were My Friend" is a release with three new Ghost Lake songs, written, recorded and produced by Henric Wallmark. The release also includes two of the songs interpreted and recorded by Marcus Kimaro and J.O. Hansson, respectively.
The single "I Thought You Were My Friend" tells the story of a Saturday night fling tearing apart a friendship, as told in a musical roller coaster ride.
Joining in on the main track are two members of now defunct pop outfit Up the Chimney, with Oskar Unger on the drums and Henrik Nordlander on the bass guitar.
Marcus Kimaro interprets "Why I Don't Like Clean-Up Animation", an everyday life story from Wallmark's sophomore college year studying animation. In Kimaro's version, a beautiful heartfelt epic.
J.O. Hansson recorded "If I Did It, It Must Be Right", a weekend romance chronicle centered around a stroll in an autumn-heavy graveyard. J.O. Hansson doesn't hold back on the charming synths, nor the captivating beats.
