Frida Selander: Like a cat (Single, 2015)

The Opening Song. Here it comes. Like A Cat is the first single from Umeå, Sweden, based Frida Selanders' anticipated album I Hear Sunshine. Four years have passed since her last album Try Again Baby, and we now finally get to know what has happened.

She turns juice into whiskey, a kitchen into a saloon and a snow-covered block to a prairie. I surrender, I lay down my guitar. Singing: If you really, really want it, it's possible. I had a song, we recorded it, but it seemed impossible to get it done. Oskar was trying to set the levels for the mellotron and the choir. Once again I sang: If you really, really want it, it's possible. And again. Do we really want to do this? We began to question ourselves. But oh yes. We wanted to do it. Now it's finished, Possible You, the first song on the upcoming album. Sometimes things just goes a little slow. But remember: Time is not passing, time is coming. Produced by Oskar Sandlund. Aunque aparecido originalmente en su país el año pasado, el lanzamiento internacional de la cantautora sueca Frida Selander se producirá este próximo mes de Febrero con este bonito sencillo llamado Forever on your team (2013), una canción que además de explorar en los sentimientos, se mueve a gusto entre el Pop de guitarras y el sonido más cercano a la Americana, con arreglos (preciosos) de cuerda incluidos.
