If You Say So was born in South Africa, studied guitar in Cuba and has been moving her whole life – from Australia, to Barcelona, to current location Stockholm. Influences come from far and from near and together they make “Paint Me” the melting pot it is. "If You Say So came to the artist in the wake of broken dreams, pure chance and a Facebook tip.

When previous singer/songwriter dreams didn’t take pace the way she wanted she bought herself a computer, Logic X; borrowed an old synthesizer and started looking for new ways to express herself. Around that time a Facebook friend of hers paired the aspiring artist with producer Patrik Lorentzon. The day after, “Paint Me” – If You Say So’s debut single and the song attached in this message – was penned.
