Bread Club: Do you know Casey Linda? (Single, 2013)

This song by San Jose band Bread Club is a preview for a compilation by bay area record company Headless Queen that will come out on 4/20. At first listen I looked at the tags and I was like “emo? what this is emo? but I like this?”. Then I realized that this band must be an off shot of the strange emo revival that has been happening for the past couple years and that this song is incredibly catchy and exhibits some great guitar work. I don’t know if I would call it emo per say, or at least what I usually think of emo as, but there’s definitely some snark and a little bit of angst and it works for them. I’m excited to hear more of what this band and this compilation can offer.[Free Download] @ecarlblom
