Brooklyn three-piece Lazyeyes formed a couple years ago and gained acclaim while touring their debut self-titled EP in 2013. But the shoegaze-y trio are looking to the future with an upcoming EP on the way and fresh single.
An ode to the Long Island town, "Islip" starts off with heavy-sounding bass before morphing into an upbeat, jangling number with hooky guitars and rolling drums. There's a fuzzed-out Kiwipop surf vibe to it all as well, with just a hint of darkened eyeliner.
Listen to the premiere of the dreamy new number in the player below and stay tuned for details on an upcoming release from Lazyeyes, as well as some touring activities.
