Rome Is Not A Town: Stupid (Single, 2015)

Rome Is Not A Town is the endless strife away from perfection, to music that allows itself to be wired and broken. According to RINAT, that's where perfection is found. It's supposed to be that way. ”Stupid”, the band's debut single, is three and a half minutes of anger, angst and everything else thrown into the chaos, "kinda not so positive", as the band puts it. The song is released as a one side 7" vinyl. The recordings took place in native Gothenburg with Kalle Von Hall (Bad Cash Quartet) as producer. It's live, it's raw, it's four people in one room. It was mixed by Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna). The band wanted something special for their 7" cover art, so they reached out to artist Coco Moore (daughter of Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore). She loved the track, agreed to collaborate and made the final vinyl cover art .
