Car Seat Headrest: Nervous youn man (2014)

Sounds like a hazy fuzz but feels so solid you almost want to reach out and hold it. The style fills the gap between singer-songwriter, shoegaze, and an endless list of other genres. This album's length is huge and there is never a dull moment. It's dense with content to the point that it will take several listens to sift through all of the lyrics which are packed full of metaphors, allusions, and references. Amazing work.
