"We wanted to bring out that it doesn't have to stop being beautiful, just because it is abandoned and dead ."
Said the Helsingborg-based band The White Raven on the video for " Headlights " . The single is picked from the upcoming debut EP "Sumeru", recorded in The End Studios outside of Lund with the leadsinger Sebastian Wijk at the head and technicians and producers Johan Olsson , Peter Dahlstrom and Mikael Gomilsek.
The video for the song, in which the atmosphere is cold and dark, is an embodiment of the desolate landscape and powerful lyrics that can be found in the music.
"We chose to shoot the video at these places because we thought they captured the feeling we ourselves have for the song. It is deserted. Broken. Strange and dead. Some scenes in the video, you could say represents a sort of before-the-inner-collapse thing." Says the band.
They call their music "Swedish Grande LoFi" and the desire to combine the sound with the visuals to bring out the feeling is grande"
