Klangschwester: Sisterella (Ep, 2014)

Klangschwester is a figure you get solo or as part of KLANGLIEBE and Go Astray. She is a singer, guitar player and producer from fantasy city Klangstadt, Germany. Inspired and spurred, she puts her voice into some rainbow bubbles, watches them flying over the sound, and waits for the moment for them to burst. Technically, the EP consists of 10 tracks: six original pieces for once. Then there are the versions: Modeplex remodel „Recognize me“ to an abstract cloud jacker while 69 North takes it into the deep sea. GIuid remix the same tune and leave it with the cloud (swooshing the beats far behind), while her music buddy Karl Gründer takes the title track to the big floor. In company with „2L8”, „ReWinder”, „Recognize me”, „Please Don`t”, „My Kind Of” plus the title track of her „Sisterella“ EP, our sister in sound Klangschwester wrote this fairytale: Once upon a time, there was a girl named Sisterella, who found her joy in making music. She lived with her wicked stepmother and two stepsisters. They treated Sisterella very badly. She only had bad equipment, an old dusty guitar and a bad quality low budget microphone to sing with. One day, she was invited for a big and meaningful release in the soundclouds. But Sisterellas’s stepmother would not let her do some recordings. Sisterella felt very sad and began to cry. Suddenly, a fairy godmother appeared and said, “Don’t cry, Sisterella! I will give you the possibility to be a part of the release!” But Cinderella was sad. She said, “I don’t have a good microphone to record something for the clouds!” The fairy godmother waved her magic wand and changed Sisterella´s old mircophone into a beautiful new condensator mic! The fairy godmother then touched Sisterella´s guitar with the magic wand. And look! She had a beautiful fender orange edition! “How will I be able to recordings?” asked Sisterella. The fairy godmother found an old cassette recorder in the kitchen. She touched it with her magic wand and it became a brand new soundcard. Sisterella was overjoyed and set off for the soundclouds. Before leaving, the fairy godmother said, “Sisterella, this spell will only last until midnight! You must go offline by then!” But Sisterella, that kind of girl she was, had a great clue. She found a crack on the web, and made that demo version of spell everlasting!
