The 286: Miracle on 286th street (Single, 2014)

The 286 include a string section of electric cellos and violins who play a feature role in the band, both in terms of style and sound. We aim to fuse rock & pop with classical music, creating something entirely original and different in the process. The 286 were formed by Spencer Hannabuss (guitar/vocals), looking to achieve a long held ambition to break away from the tried and tested indie rock band line up, and create a band that had a less conventional approach to song writing and performing. The 286 released their second mini album, 'EP', in April 2014. Their debut release, 'A Victory for Battalion 286' was a huge success and established them as the UK's only rock & roll orchestra.
