Carrying the torch of mid-80s dark-wave bummer rock faves like Birthday Party & Bauhaus, Screature is a dark psych band formed while hiding from the blistering heat of Summer in Sacramento, California. Screature’s self-titled debut was recorded and mixed by Chris Woodhouse (Mayyors) at the Hangar Studios in late 2012, and comes to us self released on the band’s own imprint, Ethel Scull Records. Look for a Screature release on Mt.St.Mtn. in the near future.
