Fast Romantics: Funeral song (Single, 2012)

"Fast Romantics have been on the very edge of a break-out for a few years now. They have the sound, they have the focus, and with “Funeral Song,” the first release from the upcoming Afterlife Blues (Feb 14, 2013), they have the absolute potential to see it all come together in a big way. I’m only going off of this one song but it seems Fast Romantic are shifting things in a slightly more 70′s arena rock direction, which we have recently seen bands such as Blitzen Trapper and Dawes attempt with moderate success. There’s quite some distance between now and valentines day, I’m interested in seeing if the guys can keeps things interesting, find a way from allowing “Funeral Song” to grow stale before it’s collective birth, not over-saturate us by hyping things too hard, too soon, if they can accomplish that then 2013 will most definitely be a year to mark Fast Romantics into our memory" (listenbeforeyoubuy.net)
