"Cold Lovers are a rare female-fronted hardcore punk group from Chicago who have been around for just over a year, taking former members from another local outfit, Fenced. So far, they have mainly stuck around their hometown, appearing with such bands as Tampa's Merchandise and No Statik. "Let Go", a track from their recent demo, is hardcore at its purest and most distilled. The vocals, which are mixed a bit higher than most traditional hardcore acts, are shouted with enough fervor to eliminate any trace of affectation over the song's fanatical, driving, single-note lead guitar line and pounding drum beat" (adhoc.fm)
