"When Sean and Jordan of High Pop come together, the result is undeniable greatness. Then awhile back we were able to hear Sean break away and do some solo jamming on his own under the moniker Boy Crush. Now it is only fair and logical that we hear what Jordan has to say for himself. And that is exactly what he does with his project Major Bummer
If Sean’s foray into solo territory showed us where the duo’s ear for catchy melody came from, then Jordan’s turn in Major Bummer shows us the noisier, more energetic flipside (I suppose it’s only fitting given that he is their drummer). True to this duo’s form, the songs on Jordan’s EP Speed God are short but only as short as they need to be. He also shows us an almost more volatile side through the music’s abrasive fidelity. On the EP’s closer, “Robotulism” Jordan holds nothing back whether it’s the onslaught of fuzzbombing or the primal nature of his vocal delivery. It’s a surprising turn from the High Pop camp but one that is just as pleasant as anything" (Lost: cactusmouth.tumblr.com)
