We Can´t Enjoy Ourselves: One belongs here more than you (2011)

"It’s been a fair-few months since we last heard from New York‘s We Can’t Enjoy Ourselves, and since we last featured them they’ve been fighting off bidding wars from major labels, toured with U2, and saved the world from an alien invasion.
Ok, so none of that actually happened, but I sincerely hope it does, especially the last part. Those guys are relentless.
They have been picked up by Solid Gold though, who are starting to push their tunes out to a wider audience, and for a band who make exceptional music but are severely under-covered by sites and blogs it’s only a good thing. In my
introduction piece about them almost a year ago I described them as “If you’re looking for a quick pick-me-up, I think I might just have what you’re looking for; E. The musical equivalent of E, that is, that actually goes by the street name of We Can’t Enjoy Ourselves. The things is that when you listen to We Can’t Enjoy Ourselves you’re left doing nothing but enjoying the shit outta yourself, and themselves” (Discover: listenbeforeyoubuy.net)
