"Crazy man Waylon Thornton turned me onto this beyond amazing single (to which he contributed the monsterfied cover artwork). The band is called The Raw Nerves and the two songs on this single hit me like a brick to the face they are so good. The single’s A-side “Fuck You, So Long” is a rollicking garage rock number that definitely shows why The Raw Nerves and Waylon are such good pals. And while that track is definitely a good time, the one that really grabbed my attention was actually the B-side “All the Time”. What a song!
I don’t have to tell you again how much I love the doo-wop and teenage pop of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s (I guess I did just tell you again). It’s such a rich sound and The Raw Nerves create a loving ode to it with “All the Time”. The track sways back and forth and all I can picture are delicate bubbles of teenage love… pink love bubbles… shaped like hearts. I give this release a solid and enthusiastic thumbs up. So check it out!" (Read it: cactusmouth.tumblr.com)
