"The debut album “Nothing Hurts” from London’s Male Bonding was a raucous affair, harnessing the elements of the punk DIY ethos mixed with Lo-Fi jitterbug-rock and hazed out to the smog and back, but even though a multitude of bands in 2010 had a similar sound, Male Bonding never found the success of their peers.
In 2011 they’re hoping to change that with second album “Endless Now”, out in about three weeks from now on Sub Pop. First single “Bones” was sung even further away from the mic than songs like “Year’s Not Long” and “Weird Feelings”, but it’s a little more tame (excuse the pun) than new song “Tame The Sun”. The newblet wails and rails against the vocals, the plodding bass line and kick drum, and the siren-like guitar solo.
You can grab the track below for free and chances are it’ll be the last track they give away before the album comes out, but as I said it’s only a few weeks away, we can hang tight until then right?" (Vía:listenbeforeyoubuy.net)
