Holograms: Chasing my mind (Single, 2012)

"A month ago we showed you the video for Holograms‘ track “Hidden Structures” the b-side from the Swedish band’s debut 7″ single “ABC City”, and if you’d labeled them as “punk” back then the term can only be loosely applied now. The reason being that “Chasing My Mind”, taken from their upcoming self-titled on Captured Tracks, has more layered synth than it does punk, though if their debut LP can throw down a mix of both it’ll be a small triumph. So far things are looking quite promising from the four-piece, highlighted by the fact that each of the three songs in their repertoire glisten with authenticity and brevity. “Holograms” the album will be released on July 10th via Captured Tracks" (listenbeforeyoubuy.net)
