Estos veteranos músicos italianos han facturado un debut en el que mezclan (casi) por igual el gusto por el Pop con el gusto por el Electro. Sus influencias ochenteras entonces son evidentes, pero su sonido tiene la frescura y la inmediatez del grupo novel.
"Candy fish was born in early 2011, as a natural prosecution of Lowbrow! (http://www.myspace.com/verylowbrow) , a solo project by Gianluca Rimei, drummer for over 10 years in important projects and italian bands like Beatrice Antolini, Jolaurlo and Il Genio. He joined Matteo Manganelli and Valerio de Virgiliis to play live the songs from the first ep "16 black & white buttons" and, after some gigs, the three guys started composing music together under the new moniker "Candy Fish". In september 2011 they recorded the first full lenght album, "So long and thanks for the candy fish" with Giacomo Fiorenza, music engineer and producer for famous italian bands like Yuppie Flu, Giardini di Mirò, Ulan Bator etc. They're currently looking for a label to promote their music.
